The Dental Polyclinic is a modern, comfortable and state of the art clinic, providing the most up to date techniques in dentistry, international standards of hygiene and sterilization.

The clinic is operated and owned by Dr. Sherief Effat. Dr. Sherief Effat is a dental surgeon specializing in Prosthodontics and Implants. He graduated from Cairo University in 1993 at 21 years old, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Oral & Dental Medicine and Dental Surgery. He then decided to move to Switzerland to obtain further hands-on experience in dental practices and techniques being carried out there.

He later returned to Cairo, after accepting a position in the Dental School which is only awarded to the top 25 graduates out of 350.

In 1996 he started his own practice in Cairo. Whilst his practice continued to evolve in Cairo, he decided to seek further experience and expertise in America and went there in the year 2000. He worked in the University of Pittsburg Medical Centre, which is one of the top five clinics in the United States, where he gained further experience and credentials over a period of 3 years, gaining a Fellowship of ICOI and also acquiring the position of Diplomate. He then entered the lecturing circuit.

To date, he continues to lecture in America, Egypt, Italy and Spain on Dental Implant procedures.

The Polyclinic evolved from his general practice and commenced treatment in the latter stages of 2000. The initial start commenced with a staff of 2, which has now developed into a surgical unit of 15 qualified personnel. This, he felt was the next obvious step, in continuing to give his patients the best care and professional service that could be offered under, one roof.

This continual pursuance of professional excellence continues, and will always do so. As will be evident, in the fact that currently, Dr. Sherief is heavily involved in advanced bone graft technology and it’s implications within specific patient requirements.

His team consists of a variety of specialists covering a wide and diverse field of dentistry such as: Endodontics, Orthodontics, Pediatric dentistry, Implants and Cosmetic dentistry, all of whom are accomplished within there own field and offer an extremely professional and friendly service.
